A Horse first approach
Each saddle fit appointment is an opportunity for me to act as your horse’s advocate. It’s never easy to hear that a saddle isn’t fitting properly or that it’s causing discomfort or hindering performance, but my role is to listen to your horse and speak on their behalf. I carefully assess and work with your existing tack, recommending a different saddle only when absolutely necessary, always putting your horse’s well-being first.

A stand alone comprehensive saddle fitting
- History intake of the horse, rider and saddles
- Body and symmetry assessment
- Tracings/templates
- Integrity check of the saddle (tree, billets, etc)
- Static and ridden fit evaluations
- Flocking adjustments/shimming/gullet plate changes
- Discussion of options as needed (saddle pads, different saddles, etc)

This appointment is similar to a standard saddle fitting, but involves test riding new (or used) saddles. I carry Cavaletti and Smart Saddles, but will also pull inventory from M&M Tack Shop or Highline and Fineline Tack based on your budget and horse's build.
